This was it! Today was the day!!! An excited gray she-kit awoke in the nursery. Tinykit could hardly sleep, this was so exciting! Thistleburr laid down in her nest, humming idly. The white and ginger she-cat was never a fan of lying around, but the Queen was so far along in her pregnancy that she couldn't exactly move. Her once small belly had gotten bigger and bigger the closer it got to her kitting to be expected. The young warrior was excited. She was finally having a family of her own!! She knew that Thunderheart, her mom, was overjoyed as well. Many times the ginger tabby would come into the nursery with a certain gray spotted apprentice. “Mama, I can't believe it!! An Exciting Discovery

Another patrol had been passed by the white and ginger she-cat. The normally excited and loving Thistleburr had been acting a bit different. She was more sluggish, didn't accept any patrol, and genuinely seemed more cranky. She figured at first it was just a bellyache, had eaten something bad and it would go away the next day. Day after day, the aches hadn't gone away, they in fact got even worse. It was almost unbearable, and Thistleburr was getting over dramatic.
